It has been confirmed that fan-favorite actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the newest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

The actors are slated to play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, respectively. Industry whispers indicate their roles will take the form of a future-set scene, given that the main film series concluded with their characters settled into family life.
